Lovely blue windowpane on grey herringbone sport coat in lightweight tweed
Probably dating from between the mid 1940s and early 1950s.

Condition
Very good.
Has been thoroughly cleaned-dry cleaned as well as washed!
There are three repairs to holes:
one on the top of the sleeve - done by previous owner
and two more by me which are almost imperceptible, as I have used different coloured threads to blend the repair in with the weave.

Size between a 42 and 43, please peruse the following
measurements:
  • armpit to armpit: 23 inches
  • shoulders: 19.5 inches
  • sleeve length: 24.5 inches
  • length from bottom of collar: 29.5 inches

£50 + postage
Thanks for looking, and please comment here or pm me if interested!

Don't forget to mention the lovely patch pockets! It's ventless and probably a 1940s jacket by the great Californian institution of 'Sportswear' (love their stuff!).

GOOD LUCK.

Meta, I'm interested. I assume it is too roomy for you?

Will send a PM.
BTW your 1952 suit alterations are almost finished.

Anton, I will let you have this one.
I must be honest - it is also too large for me.
I intended to take in the seams to make it fit a Sz.40/42, but better it goes to someone who can leave it in the original size.
