I've seen that jacket somewhere else and was not on any book. Might have been Ebay and I didn't bid because it was too small or too expensive.

I had this one. One like it without the label was on ebay.

Yes it is just that. I was just looking at some of the pics. I'm anxious to hear about this leather. I'm thinking maybe it is pigskin, not goatskin. Never seen a pigskin jacket of any vintage that i can recall. I have an interesting Leather makers Catalog from the 30s that has an assortment of pigskin jackets. that got me thinking. I need to compare it with other Goats. Just a bit different quality to it.

Pigskin has lots of tiny follicle dots on the surface. Like measles.

This goatskin looks amazing, shame it takes 80 years to make goatskin show any wear. Jacket is constructed with a lot of love to detail; the back and the front pockets along these seams make for a very smart design. Great jacket!

Old Goats like Old goats! I would estimate a size 38.

Not necessarily true that goat takes 80 years to show wear; I have a G-1 that is 55 years old, and it is already beginning to show a little wear.
