Thanks for posting these TT! What really strikes me viewing the photos is how gritty real life looks compared to the other way we look at vintage clothing - through the movies. Whether they're vintage movies or modern period films like Public Enemies, the characters and even extras seem, to me anyway, too clean or homogenous in their dress to reflect the varied styles and looks shown in these pictures, right down to rumpled suits and old hats.
