C.1930s Beverly fedora
This is a very rare example of the era. This hat was recently found inside a store that closed many years ago. Hidden for all these years, this is the closest you can get to being one of the first true wearers of a hat from the golden era. I have never worn it, as it is too large for my 7 1/8 size noggin
The felt is grey, but has a purplish undertone to it depending on the lighting. I've tried to capture this, and the underbrim photo is closest to actual color. The felt is almost velour like, as it has a slightly furrier nap to it.
The hat ribbon has folded over in one spot. The hat has some dust in the felt, which should be able to come out with a good brushing or a hat cleaning. There is surface moth damage to the underside of the brim
The sweatband is unreeded and has all stitching intact
Brim: 2 1/4"
Open crown: 6"
Circumference: 22.75
