A wealth of visual info, thanks for posting these. :D
I find myself wanting to get reproductions made of at least a dozen or so of these though.
I actually did own one briefly as a kid. I wore a Schott Perfecto with the stars on the epaulets just like the one pictured. My brother in law gave it to me I think, and it was quite small, maybe a 36 at best, but it fit me for a couple of years. I was a bad to the bone 10 year old! ;)

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the source of all these images: a collection? a museum? pix found on the internet? If it's a collection, you can tell it took a loooong time to put it together. Are those jackets valuable or, other than for copying the styles, they're not really wearable or something that people will pay a lot to possess?

Hi Vespizzare,
The pics i put up are jackets we generally buy and sell, some are kept by us. They all have a value, some more so than others. The majority i guess are bought by people to wear, there is still a huge amount of interest in old vintage leathers and we are seeing a steady but constant increase in demand these days.

Well it's great of you and Dinerman to share your photos with us. there are some very interesting designs and styles and just viewing the pics provides a wealth of information.

I concur, seems like the town name is Wildervank, which is a town about 30km South East from Groningen, Netherlands.

Amazing to see a Robert Hall label. In the early Sixties they were a New York area chain clothier that had cavernous stores devoted to outfitting proper young boys and men. I'm amazed that they ever sold horsehide jackets.

Buco, do you have an ebay store? Are these for sale or your own collection? I think I have seen some on ebay.
