That's a great find, and it's significant in that several broadcasting historians (me included) have been working for several years to sort out just how the NBC system cue evolved. NBC's official history claims that the familiar chimes were being used as early as 1927, but we've already disproven that, and have found no evidence of their being used in any form before October 1929. Jones and Hare began their series for Interwoven on May 3, 1929, so the fact that no chimes are heard at the end would narrow down the dating to probably some time during that summer.
Interwoven considered tying up again with Jones and Hare in 1937, and an audition program was recorded -- using the same theme music, announcer, and commercial jingle as are heard here, and it's the 1937 version that shows up on various "Radio's Great Commercials" compilation records.
