1915 Stetson "The Event"
This hat was only produced during the fall of 1915. Extremely rare
Black felt, this hat dry creases with ease, and is extremely soft to the touch
The brim has an upwards flange treatment, with a beautiful shallow swoop when looking at the hat from the side. The ribbon has the frayed edge treatment, which was a common feature from the earlier years.
I cannot find any moth damage to the hat. The liner is not original, I added it to the hat to "complete" the look. The liner is from a 1930s era Stetson. The sweatband bow has come untacked, which is shown in the photographs
Tagged 7 1/8, but fits a little on the larger side of that size range
