11 Pound Buffalo Jacket

I found this beast at the Rose Bowl swap meet last month. I almost bought it, but held off.
It weights 11 pounds, and is a size 54. The body was a bit wider than I need, so I didn't pull the trigger, but I think if it's there next weekend, I might change my mind. This looked like ~1950's, and sadly, I can't recall the maker - but all the labels are intact and it's in great shape. Just a nice old jacket, nothing fancy...

That looks like a leather version of a Levi's Trucker Jacket. Still several companies that offer jackets just like that if you're in the market for something new. I've even seen a listing on eBay for leather jackets like that made to measure.

Thanks 150, I know of what you speak, but not my style...
This one is really different - can't see it from the pix, and I do like that it's an old, American-made jacket.

Prices can be even lower when you are overseas. I'm sure that these are made in other countries. That price probably still allows a generous profit margin.
