In the original BBC TV series Julia didnt pop up till the scene on the ship just prior to WW2 , she want a major charecter apart from the very early scenes:rage:

I saw the trailer yesterday and I think it looks HORRIBLE compare to the original series.

At least it will introduce a whole new generation to Evelyn "Mr" Waugh I also love "A handfull of dust" the movie also made in the early 1990's same production values as the BBC Tv series of Brideshead

I just loved the tv series in the early 80s. I bought the DVD last year. I've been watching it several times. It's really a fantastic series.
I haven't seen the film yet.
