I have a few favourites:
For a thick gel-like texture in a tube I love Clarins hyrdraquench and a cheaper option is L'Occitane balm in the tube
For a firm waxy like texture in a wind -up stick I love LOccitane shea butter stick or a cheaper option is Nivea Soothe and Protect stick
I don't really get comments when out shopping as I'm usually dressed 'comfy' but my SO likes to dress up- vintage hat (with crow feathers tucked into the hatband!) waistcoat, pocket watch, vintage coat etc. He never fails to get appreciative comments form both men and women- some women even ask...
Personally it'd give me tiny clogged pores. I do like a shine/ wet look on my eye. I have used various shiny shadows e.g MAC Phloof, and highlighters e.g. Rouge Bunny Rouge Sea of clouds. RBR had just brought out eye glosses which I'm dying to try!
I'd say it depends on your skin. My SO has been using the lotion on his head and face after he shaves for years and loves it.
I tried the Ponds coldcream, witchhazel and nivea cream regime for a while and found that my pores became enlarged- it was too greasy for me. I switched to clarins and...

Kymeratale: I love Precis Petite- i get a lot of my clothes there- the fit is great for me as I'm 5 foot tall and curvy, the jeans are cut with highwaists and curved hips and rear- they have loads of lovely vintage-inspired styles. I also like Phase 8 (Occasionally Coast too). I think these are...

I recently got this- its not vintage- its by Phase 8 (the Sasha dress, I also have it in purple). It was reduced to £25.00 so I snapped it up. No idea where I'll wear it.
Thanks for the suggestions girls- i do have a beret but I tend to purchase it on the back of my head. I found loads of vintage fur hats on ebay, I might get one of those. I also have my eye on a cute red and white Fair Isle bobble hat!
Hi Ladies
With this artic winter we in Europe are having at the minute I need to buy a warm winter hat that covers my poor ice-cold ears- I'd like it to be something vintage inspired or not look too out of place with a 40's stye woollen coat, something casual- and google images isn't showing...
Hi
Pardon me for butting in. My Mum used Boots no7 make-up exclusively as she has sensitive skin and its the only brand apart from Almay that doesn't iritate her (MAC eye shadow makes her eyelids peel). My expereinces with using it on her are not great- the reason its good for sensitive skin...
