    Of course. However, the sweat band is attached the liner in enough places to make it difficult to put the foam inside. I was reluctant to take anything apart day one.

    Yes, the Borsalino felts are lovely. The brown hat's felt is "plusher" to the touch, however. They're the same thickness, but I feel that brown one is thicker, fuller. I am familiar with the "extra" in French, and "stra-" in Italian (stravecchio, strastaginato). I thought it odd to mix...

    Allora, Daniele: so despite the designation "Qualitá Extra Superiore", on the lining of my brown hat, there's no reason to think that it's made of beaver or rabbit, either. (Extra isn't even a word in Italian, is it?)
