    We need to talk tariffs

Just remember that the policies which got him elected could very well get his VP elected to replace him 4 years from now. 4 years is definitely not enough to see a very significant positive impact, but 8 or even 12 years of these policies if were lucky could provide quite positive results for...

    We need to talk tariffs

Everybody knows before buying most of the things they buy whether they truly need them or not, and of course the average person living in the 1st world buys a lot of things they don't need. We may try to justify them sometimes, but we usually know we don't really need them.

    We need to talk tariffs

I would have to disagree about the phone thing. Yes most people have one, but many people like me can't really use theirs for time keeping every day. At my blue collar job time is kind of important , but I can't keep my phone in my pocket nor would I want to be reaching into my pocket with dirty...

    We need to talk tariffs

The FTC has lots of regulations and it has what are known as qualified statements and unqualified statements. A qualified statement is when there are things you're required to disclose in the COO claim of your products. You can't just say " MADE IN USA " if there's a significant percentage of...

    We need to talk tariffs

Except there was Waltham, Elgin, US TIME / TIMEX, and a couple others. It's been over 50 years, but we used to make a lot of watches and the American made railroad grade pocket watches were once the most accurate personal timepeaces available.

    Avirex G-1 Goatskin Jacket

That sure looks like a great buy to me, I believe it's one of their more premium offerings. It should be a great piece as long is it doesn't have too baggy of a fit. Lately Avirex jackets go for way too much on Ebay.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I'm wearing the plain pockets again, over a T shirt on a 70°f day like today it's perfect.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

This Stetson was my grandfather's, I have no clue how old it is or what model it would be, but it's my go-to for warm weather yard work.

The ultimate badass jacket - what’s your pick?

Who said anything about soul ? " Badass " does not have to be a state of being or a way of acting...etc which then is having to be applied to an inanimate object. It's just a way to describe a jacket in itself being very appealing. All but 2 of my jackets came off Ebay and were sold to me via...

    Your Must-Have Jacket Styles

Gotta have an A2 for fall & spring mornings A flannel lined denim jacket for the same weather. A good wool coat like a vintage woolrich 503 or Filson cruiser for the cold winter A G1 or leather PD jacket with a liner & mouton collar for a winter leather jacket. A genuine USGI M65 with liner for...

How do you manage your leather jacket rotation?

I only have a few jackets that are leather , but in general with my jackets I pretty much just go with whatever I feel like wearing that day that is practical for the weather ahead. At my blue collar job I can't wear anything " nice ", so it's just my few days off and occasionally when I'm going...

The ultimate badass jacket - what’s your pick?

I am just talking about the jacket itself. I don't imagine owning or wearing nearly half of the badass jackets I see nor do I expect a badass jacket to make me look cool , I just appreciate how said jackets happen to look.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Now that's another jacket in the category of Cool as hell but I could never pull it off because I just don't have the confidence . Congrats on finding this unique piece. I don't your size, but this one looks like it might be up your alley...

The ultimate badass jacket - what’s your pick?

" badass " has 2 uses, and one of them is to describe an object that you think is the coolest example of that thing you've ever seen. I believe a jacket itself can most definitely be badass , but that doesn't mean it will instantly make the person wearing it look like a badass or guarantee...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I finally received the vintage flannel lined JCP's plain pockets today, and I'm very happy with it. I think this is the best fitting denim jacket I've ever owned. It's supposed to be up to 60°f today, so this jacket should serve me just fine walking the dog and running a few errands.

I’m new here: looking for a belt buckle for this Golden Bear coin pocket jacket

I'd personally just put any cool belt buckle on it that fits.

The ultimate badass jacket - what’s your pick?

I think this early 70's pioneer wear is certainly the most " badass " I've ever seen when it comes to suede truckers, but most badass in general is another story. In general don't I think there really is one most badass jacket. I think any good quality leather jacket can be the most...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I went with the boring Cooper A2 today. This year my 2 most worn jackets have been this cooper and my Woolrich 503. I have worn them probably 5x as much as I've posted them here. I'm hoping Steve at Bedo's will be finished with my Taylors CMPD sometime next week and have it on it's way back to...

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

I felt like wearing this " blanket lined " big Smith today. It's a bit of a more generous workwear type cut, but I'm okay with the fit and quite like the denim on it. Plus my first denim jacket way back when I was 5 or 6 had the corduroy collar and pocket flaps.
