ah...yes!
Good supple, wearable jacket....No provenance I'afraid. Decal scratched away. has leather tabs on the epaulets.

Having been a ballistics photographer in a previous life, I'm pretty sure (never 100% just on a couple of pics) that this is real bullet hole damage.
We at the Tin shed Museum have an original USAAF Flak Helmet, with a hole in it...and I'm 99% sure it's shrapnel.

Paul, That's fantastic.....we are hoping to make contact with WWII 28th Inf Div vets especially ones that were training in Wales.
Hopefully one day we can place a memorial to them over here...
