The Tin Shed has a few projects on the go......one of them is developing links with Pennsylvania. Why, you ask?...Well, Pennsylvania has strong Welsh connections and the 28th Inf Div (Pennsylvanian's National Guard) was based in Wales for 6 month training for D-Day. So there's a strong military...

Yes, 28th Infantry Division in particular... part of next years display at the Tin Shed will be devoted to the US forces based in Wales during WW2...
It's been a while......
Apologies for being incommunicado for some time....I've been for the last two years pretty much totally devoted to building our Tin Shed Museum in Laugharne. With time devoted else where, and during that period Internet access was difficult.

Period fonts..
Not sure where to put this..but here goes...
Looking for a 30's 40's Deco style font for our museum....I like the standard type deco font's, but just wonderd if any of you have or seen fonts that are a little different...

Just an update:- Things are moving along well.... We recently had a grant by the Welsh assembly given to us so it means we can upgrade the building without loosing any of it's caricature....

Our most recent display....a GI of the 28th Inf.Div surrenders to Germans at the Battle of the Bulge.
28th Infantry Div GI's were based in South Wales during 1943-44 for training prior to D-Day and the invasion of Europe...They suffered a particularly hard time in Belgium and Luxemburg
