Color is very stable - slight fading on tops of creases at elbows. I haven't worn it as much as I would like - I end up wearing my CXL PHWM in the colder weather (it's larger so I layer under it). Hey GoAround, apologies for the delay. Here are my measurements: I'm 6', 155 lbs. My chest ranges from 40 - 42 inches (fully expanded with breath & depending on working out/ the season) I wear a 38/40 in most everything off the rack. Aero Board Racer Comparison Size 40 v 42
The 2 different types of leather will make a huge difference in fit (as you know). No need to scrutinize, each jacket fits great and has it's own look. Like others have said, don't impose age restrictions/expectations on yourself, you're fit and look a few years younger than you are, enjoy it...- Witchtrip

They are very different leathers: The FQHH is a thicker, stiffer, more weather resistant & restrictive fitting jacket that will take years to gain the flexibility (if it ever can) of Vicenza. The Vicenza is sublime - I'm sorely tempted to order a PHWM in black Vicenza as I love the hide so much...- Witchtrip

Yes, it's pretty disappointing when things develop issues, but I'm confident we'll be able to sort it out. I'm just happy that I splurged and ordered a vicenza board racer as well, so I have something to wear this fall. The vicenza BR is beyond description - it's a superlative jacket & hide!- Witchtrip
