Of all the samples in the pictures I would go with Horween Milan, beautiful colour and slightly softer, more comfortable out of the box than CXL, possibly due to the veg tanning vs chrome tanning.
The perfecto style jacket looks good, if it had shoulder gussets as per a regular Perfecto I would snap one up. Still tempted but was wondering if having it without a belt would still come with a £95 Customisation charge, guess I will have to email customer services.
I've added a picture of the jacket in better light to show the battered steer, although it's nearly new it looks fairly broken in and is very soft and flexible.
Currently on ebay but open to sensible offers, a later WW2 contract repro Aero A2 in battered steer. Only worn for a few hours and only selling as its slightly short for me and getting it remade. Purchased from the Aero QM dept in May this year...
I've got a jacket in Kelpie and also one in the Equus, there is definitely some difference in the two, the Kelpie had a bit less sheen to it & feels more substantial but still really comfortable, both beautiful leathers, I will post a side by side of both jackets when I get a chance
Approximate sizes are:
