First I would like to thank everyone here who has bought one of my hats or shown interest in my work, I know there are a lot of choices for custom made hats these days so I appreciate the support. With regards to the previous post:
I was sent a photo of a hat that the client wanted to be...
I just wanted to thank everyone here for all of the overwhelming support you have given me over the past year. I have grown so much as a hat maker and I really have to thank all of you for the faith you have shown in my abilities. I know I would not be where I am today without your support...
First off I would like to thank Anthony for his very kind words and for starting this thread devoted to my hats. I would also like to thank everyone here who has shown interest in ordering a hat from me. I would also like to thank Art and David at Vintage Silhouettes, and Jim at JW Hats for all...
Great photos, I have wanted to visit Montana since watching a movie with Sam Shepard called Don't Come Knocking which was set in Butte. I love the vintage Americana scenery etc, the stuff you have found and the stores you visit are exactly what I imagined small towns in Montana would have to...
Thanks RJR I appreciate the kind words, my etsy store is kind of short on hats right now, here is a link to my instagram if you want to see more of the hats I have made recently that I have sold outside of etsy.
Thanks everyone for the compliments. Moon - the dimensions are 4 3/4" crown at the front, and 2 1/2" brim (I used a vintage #52 block 6" high), Fruno - this was made from a Winchester 100% beaver dark brown body I can't do a headshot because I sold this hat a couple of days ago to a local...
A gray Borsalino Allessandria in a 7 1/2, I would have bid much much higher than $125 had it stayed in auction, we may never see another one of those again, or it may be a very long time until we do, foolish seller probably could have got around $300.

This one went very high, funny thing is the seller probably got it at an estate sale for ten bucks.
I had a wool hat once and is shrunk when I wore it in the rain, I always thought that all wool hats would do that, the crown got significantly smaller after wearing in the rain just one time, it was much shorter and the hat itself fit more tightly, is there a way to prevent a wool hat from...
I agree that hat looks very nice, the felt appears to be extremely thin, I wonder if the production line hats will be as nice, if the new open crowns are as nice as they appear in the video posted I will be buying one for sure, just not sure which one, I have always wanted a Whippet.
