Just curious, for everyone who has looked so far, do you think it's an issue with the assembly of the jacket? The design of the jacket? Or possibly an unusually weak hide? Not necessarily puzzling, but I think it's interesting that it's both armpits.
I purchased their "Rebel" Harrington when it was on sale for half off, maybe 2 years ago now? Manufactured in Portugal. The materials and quality of manufacture were all pretty nice.
I haven't handled any of the rest of their stuff in person, but for a lot of their offerings, I agree with...
Thedi Hektor/MTC-127915 and Bill Kelso Duke (both based off the same historical design) feature half-belt and shoulder gussets, if you want to google those two.
My answer is ridiculous, but maybe some folks can relate.
Current collection of nicer leather jackets consists of a Vanson cafe racer, a Thedi Hector, a Lewis Star Lightning, a Pegasus D Pocket, and a Bill Kelso Duke. I am very happy with all of them, and with the exception of some extra long...
Just found this used but not abused Pegasus Luftwaffe on ebay. It looks like this is predates their switch to Shinki, so it's most likely their softer horsehide with the topcoat that "chips" . If this was in my size, for 200 euros i'd be all over it. I have one of their D pocket jackets in...
Slight derailment, but where did you find the restraint tool/shoulder adornment thing? I'm a huge Ramones fan, got to see them twice before they disbanded, and it took me forever to even find out what that thing on Johnny's shoulder was, never mind where to find one!
That's Ben from SOP!
As pointed out already, it's got those lines at the neck and shoulders. I don't think it's because the jacket is the wrong size though. Sleeve length, body length, where the shoulder seam is, the jacket not being overly snug across the chest....I think the fit looks as...
I'm an athletic 42r, take L in most shirts and jackets sized that way. My Royale harrington is an L, and it's a trim fit. I definitely wouldn't be able to size down.
Sleeve length is fine. I have the cuffs on the 2nd button, which helps keep them at my wrists. Even without though, sleeve length...
I own one of the Royale Filmwear ones. For the money, I am very pleased with it.
Also picked up one of &Sons' "Rebel" Harringtons when they were on sale last year. Very happy with that one as well.

Just chiming in -
I purchased a LW Trojan from Stu back in 2010 or 2011. Sold it after a few years because it was getting a little snug due to weightlifting I had been doing, and I had moved to a part of the country where the jacket's weight was heavier than I'd have preferred at the time. The...
Thanks! Gave it a shot though, and no luck. The tension that keeps it in the locked position is present, but super weak. Pinching doesn't seem to have helped on this one
Actually, just looking more closely now, and I think i see the "locking" aspect. The part of the zipper that secures the pull to the slider, on my of my other jackets, appears to have some tension that causes the part of this piece opposite the hinge to sort of drag on the teeth of the zipper...
This is subject i've never really pit much though toward despite decades of wearing jackets, so I might be over thinking this now. How do you visually differentiate a non locking zipper from a locking one?
Just looking at the zipper on this jacket now, everything looks fine. The teeth look...
It definitely wasn't like "ziiiiiiiiiip!!!" with my jacket popping open all at once. It just slowly crept down as the wind kept creating force. I became aware of it during the last few inches when I started to feel more of a draft and also wasn't feeling the snugness of the jacket in front of my...
