This Panama started as a Brent Black hat, and when I acquired it some years ago, it was in a sad state.
Tom Gomez added a new sweatband and reblocked the hat for me.
It's held together with tape in a couple of places, and I lost the ribbon at some point.
It's hanging in there, and I think...
It looks like a year or so since I last posted, and I was wearing this same hat.
Art Fawcett made this for me. Over the years, it has seen a lot of use and is still going strong.
Well, it’s been a while since I last posted here.
Fighting the heat and grilling potatoes for dinner over at our daughter’s later.
Mr. Fawcett made the hat for me, some years ago.
When I met up with Mike Moore in Ft Worth a few years ago - Rusty and Rocky were there too and we had some Lone Star beer at their trade show spot. Good times!
My hat is one Mike made for me sometime earlier.
Its not been the best summer for hat wearing - working from home and really not going out much.
Today though the temperature was well into triple digits, so a good day for one of my favorites from Mr. Fawcett.
Heading out to run some errands in a rare break in the rain.
Hat is an Adventurebilt.
Jeff, good news that your daughter is ok.
I don’t miss driving in crap weather, since we moved to Texas.
That Black Cherry Lord’s Hat is what I most associate with you. I remember when you got it made.
So it’s National Hat Day and MLK’s and my birthday.
Seems like a good day to be wearing one of Mike Moore’s great westerns.

Art, you have brought a lot of pleasure to many people with your hats.
I think I have a dozen or so hats that you made for me - all of them are special and part of my life.
All the best for your retirement - I hope you enjoy being close to your family.
Cheers!

Yeah, we don’t have quite such a good view now, Jack. I’m already thinking I want to move again when this lease ends - want to get more urban, I think.
Cheers!

Cold (low 40’s) and windy in Fort Worth today. A Cordova cap kept my head warm while out with the doggies.
The reflection is on the doors of the civil courts building with the county courthouse in the background.
Cheers!
