    yes i have measured my head...im around size 7 3/4. Needless to say every hat i find online is not carried in my size. And most hats that are in my size are rather expensive...its not that im cheap, i just don't want to pay 100+ for a hat.

    what exactly is the methodology to using a steaming kettle. the fedora i referred to was felt with a leather band inside. I really don't know much about hats but i thought that using a steaming kettle was only applicable to non-felt hats. ...and doesn't removing the sweatband and ribbon cause...

    to my knowledge though, hat stretchers won't really increase the size of the hat, only maintain the current size...right? EDIT: and Duane, how am i supposed to know that i can call to order something larger than what is listed at the fedora store?
