J-57 came. Impressed with the pattern as it fits comfortably and has a lot of arm mobility for a relatively 'basic' racing shirt type pattern. Also doesn't do the huge back tent like J-100s do at times. It's definitely one of those barely covering your belt fits.
I do feel a little conflicted...
dont expect significant change in the sleeves
to me the length is good, but some guys on here prefer longer. any shorter would be too short
the only thing that stands out to me is it feels like the back is somewhat riding up on your hips/ass. therefore causing the back panel to bunch up. that...
LGB came today. Pretty neat. By far the plushest horsehide I've ever handled, comparable to lamb. I guess it's all in the tanning.
Construction isn't terrible besides some haphazard stitching. Definitely not on the level of the top tier Japanese brands.
a little too simplistic. but it definitely has the least wiggle room. that probably works for body types close to standard OTR sizing though.
sleeve length, shoulder width, and overall length can make or break a jacket for me easily.
I am sensitive to shoulders being too big, because I hate looking like I'm in dad's jacket. A lot of times it will cause an undesirable shape in the shoulders too.
However I've found I have almost 4cm wiggle room where shoulders look fine on me.
it's a collaboration in the sense that a brand might pick out a design or something, but ultimately its just made by rainbow country. should be the same quality.
