AMEN. I appreciate MK's clarification. If people were judged simply by the source of their clothing purchases, a number of us would fare poorly. So many excellent quality and hard-to-find vintage (and not so vintage) items are found in thrift stores. They are an ongoing source of items...- carter

You are correct. Ron from HatsDirect has told us that Akubra dusted off the old blocks to make the Federation IV. Hatters don't keep old blocks because they need more paperweights. Styles may come around again. They can be cyclical. He did not speak to the flange. A felt body is a felt body... -

THat RM is a great hat! CJ, Is the RM Brown the same Mid Brown as the Campdraft? Or is it darker? I'm sure that Akubra can/does the same as HATCO in making a small tweak and selling virtually identical hats with different names through different vendors. The best way for us to get more... -
