The forecast says it's going to be 81 in Dallas tomorrow. :)
What's so special about Texas in January is that folks are just as friendly as they are any other month. Heck, you don't even have to be family. :)
My grandfather was born in Upper Sandusky. I've always found this odd as Sandusky...
Not I but...
What was her name? Felecia? ;) :)
Rusty, I looked at that one but couldn't for the life of me figure out what exactly it was. I'm looking forward to your revelation.
I pulled the trigger on this BIN Flechet straw. $19.94 with shipping.

It's 59 degrees at 6:48 PM.
Sunny is definitely right about the dearth of precipitation. Some communities in north TX are contemplating water restriction.
Getting sick isn't fashionable.
Greg, You speak for the 1,000,000 + people who were outdoors during the inauguration, not to mention hours before and after the event. Having grown up in the Shenandoah Valley and spent a fair amount of time in D.C., I know how cold it can be there in January...
In my '03 T-bird any hat is fine with the top down.
With the top up I usually remove my fedora when I enter and put it back on when I exit.
I could touch the ground while seated in an old Triumph but I'd need gorilla arms to do it in a Mini.
Yep, that's a red ribbon.
A small piece of the black ribbon, 1/4-1/2" wide, wrapped around the center of the bow might be a nice accent. It would also add to the AF vibe.
Nicely done.

Kiltie, That's a terrific Open Road. Excellent bash!
Your haircut can make a difference in fit. If your hair is cut close/fairly close on the sides, one size larger or a hat jack might be a good idea. If your hair is longer on the sides, a closer cut may well do the trick.
IC, There is a huge difference between this cap and a B!wear. I posted a picture of my B!Wear for comparison.
The Cappello is the cap ukali1066 is wearing in post #113 on this thread.
My go to cap
This is my Cappello 8-panel newsboy bought from an ebay seller. It's 50/50 wool/poly blend and has a quilted lining. Heathereed grey/grey-green herringbone. Very full cut.
