Hats In The Car/A Newbie Question
In my '03 T-bird any hat is fine with the top down. With the top up I usually remove my fedora when I enter and put it back on when I exit. I could touch the ground while seated in an old Triumph but I'd need gorilla arms to do it in a Mini. -
Panama Ribbon Change
Yep, that's a red ribbon. A small piece of the black ribbon, 1/4-1/2" wide, wrapped around the center of the bow might be a nice accent. It would also add to the AF vibe. Nicely done. -

At least one member, GWD, destroyed a sweatband with Lexol. You might want to avoid this one. -

Stetson Nostalgia: To Stretch or Not to Stretch?
Your haircut can make a difference in fit. If your hair is cut close/fairly close on the sides, one size larger or a hat jack might be a good idea. If your hair is longer on the sides, a closer cut may well do the trick. -

My go to cap This is my Cappello 8-panel newsboy bought from an ebay seller. It's 50/50 wool/poly blend and has a quilted lining. Heathereed grey/grey-green herringbone. Very full cut. -

I like all of those. The solid brown is the most conservative. The green makes a bold statement. The brown and gold textured is definitely sporty.
