Yes, that's the spirit of trying out new things! However keep in mind that raw denim can leave stains, so I would avoid using it with light colored shirts. If you are really keen on using your existing wool in sleeves, maybe you should just go ahead and try using it? This leather is as soft as Schott's naked cowhide or maybe Aero's Vicenza or goat. It also feels lighter than my black comp weight. Would you say your brown comp weight feels like that?- Jejupe

Wool for sleevelining would not be my choice. Friction and possible stretching would be my main concerns. On other hand I would not choose polyester sateen either. There is probably not one sleeve length that is perfect for a person in all possible jacket and coat styles. One factor is garment's shoulder width versus persons actual shoulder width. Anyone care to explain to me why Eastman A2s are 250 - 300 £ more expensive than Aeros? Are they somehow historically more accurate, are the hides better or what is the reason? (This is an honest question, I am in no way putting down Eastman or promoting Aero)- Jejupe
