I've had to literally roll the back up (like rolling a sheet of paper) by hand in order to get the back of a western brim to curve upward. That thick, stiff felt can take it. -

Thanks Bart. The felt is some of the nicest I've handled. Actually, outside a western from the American Hat Company, it may be the nicest. It's soft, supple, and holds any crease you put in it. I have another Shudde Bros. at Jimmy Pierce's now. It's a fine felt but I believe this one is better... -

There are any number of establishments near our home in Dallas where one can purchase Coca Cola made and bottled in Mexico (hecho en Mexico) in 355ml glass bottles. It is far better than the product produced by the local Coca Cola bottler.- carter

The state of my hair does not influence my hat wearing but the state of my hat does influence my haircut. -
Struggling with bashing my new hat - please comment/assist
Great hat! I think you're uncomfortable with a taller crown because you haven't worn one. This happens to most people the firts time they wear a hat with a tall crown. Once you've worn one and are comfortable with it, a shorter crown just doesn't look as good. At least that is my experience...
