What was the last TV show you watched?

Love this show. Have you read any of the books by Leslie Charteris? Very different but great, too.

    Cologne and perfume

GREAT choices. Have you tried Trumper's Curzon? You might like it based on these others. Knize Ten (especially the Golden Edition) is quickly becoming my signature scent.

    What are you listening to?

[/IMG] If they 80s can be considered vintage.... X. Loved them then; love them now. I am going to miss then at the Greek Theater but I am sure it will be a great show. They all look so young in this photograph!

    What are you listening to?

Full Swing--an 80s homage to the big band era featuring Lorraine Feather (daughter of Leonard Feather), Steve March (son of Mel Torme) and Charlotte Crossely (former backup singer to Bette Midler). They do a really great version of "Serenade in Blue" among others. If you like the Manhattan...

How many of you did hide a new leather jacket purchase from wife?

Shouldn't there be a secondary market for leather credits? I could swap my new Schott for the new Ferragamos you kept in the trunk of your car for a week.... Don't think I didn't notice. Don't tell, don't ask?

What Did You Drink Last Night?

I was meeting a friend at a local den of sweet tropical drinks and just reading about them on the menu put me into an insulin shock, so I ordered a plain old Bloody Mary. Great stuff.

How many of you did hide a new leather jacket purchase from wife?

My wife buys ME my leather jackets--I wouldn't normally splash out but she loves it so nothing to hide! Suede, too.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Wow-- I fenced in college--épée--and it was really hard work (and I was very fit!). Haven't thought of taking it up again but I just might given this inspiring post. Spending most of my efforts these days on squash, which has the benefit of being one of those games you never try to win--you...

1931 Dated Hacking Jacket On Ruby Lane

[/IMG] Bernard Weatherill can even provide that--at the very back of this picture of their current shop in Savile Row is the model horse complete with saddle to use to fit riding clothes for their customers. I think they have a full-sized horse in their window, too.

1931 Dated Hacking Jacket On Ruby Lane

Hacking jackets are always longer than suit jackets--they literally are styled to look best when the wearer is seated on a horse, as opposed to standing. I am 5"9" and have a modern one from Bernard Weatherill--probably not as flattering but to change it would be to alter the integrity of the...

[/IMG] This one is not vintage but a good example of a new retro style Hamilton. I added the pigskin band. Shown on an unusual pocket square by Hermes.
