Hi folks, paid nearly 100 quid for these to find out that I dont really like the cut. These are the 1946 repros in a 32 waist and 34 inseam, dry denim, cloth sail pockets, excellent repros. Will sell for 65 gbp plus postage. Drop me a line if u are interested.
Well the buckleback below the belt loops , red tab and generally the cut makes them similar to 561´s I bought in the late 90´s. The 561 line later looked different.
Hey I just came across these Levis. A cross between the 1937 model and the 561 regular Levis model from the 90´s. Are they indeed repros of a 30´s model or a new vintage look alike or just fakes?
Cant agree more, I think the 1929 201xx are the best fitting jeans and yes, I like my denim´s loose. The 1933 version is pretty good too and i am probably gonna end up with only those two models. Luckily LVC are doing the 1929 model in dry rigid again and that´s definately good news.
Lee Boss of the Road
Sorry, now I know what you are talking about, you mean the Boss Of the Road model. I saw these only on pics, dont know if they are repros or new variations of the old Lee´s. They look a bit strange to me, seem to have a very low waist at least on some pics. Maybe one of the...
Sorry, I am not familiar with the Lee BOTR model. I have a pair of the 101B and had the 101Z and they are a good fitting jeans. Not too tight but not too baggy, very comfy to wear and they look great. The Hair On Hide is fairly loose around the leg but as I wrote before too tiight around waist...
So after having sold all my Lee 101 hair on hide jeans as I found them too tight around the waist and crotch and therefore to uncomfortable I wanted to experiment a bit and try the wrangler blue bell repros. The 11MW was suppose to be be a lot more comfy than the 11MWZ model and in numerous...
Howdy folks , before it goes up on ebay maybe there is someone here interested in this brand new, grey Tonak fedora. It is size 56, brim is just over 6.5 cm wide. I bought it too small and cant xchange it. I would like 28 gbp plus postage.
Yeah that would do fine. The bottom front should be straighter and create a sort of a drape. My jacket is rounded and open and the jacket is too short.
Like I wrote I have written to Indy but he is on holidays and I will wait for his opinion as well. I merely want an opinion from fellow loungers about the style of the suit.
After various attempts to have my dream suit made by local tailors and after reading all the praise about Indy Magnoli I decided to have a custom suit made by him. I wanted a late 40s early 50s style suit, picked the peaked lapels single breaster with a belt back and the hollywood pants. Send...
This is a brilliant forum. I really dig some of these answers.....but to get back to my question....my original WW2 khakis look great with a crease and no I aint 80 years old either but my BR Khakis look better without a crease. So does that prove anything ????? Probably not. Think I am getting...
Just checking out various pics of khakis and I am wondering do u general fedora lounge public tend to wear khakis with a crease or without and ironed flat ? Surely if combining with an old sportsjacket and shirt a crease would look better and less casual while still casual enough.....what do u...
No you cant have enough jeans but try explaining that to your wife......up until recently I would never buy a pair of distressed LVC´s or Lee´s. I would only buy rigid ,dry denim but I was really careful not to trash them or even wash them ( try explaining that to most people...) So when a...
This is a 42 and fits like a 42, it is definately a trim military fit and I thought it was horsehide.....there you go, shows how much I know about leather...
In about 1993 I bought this chocolate brown A-2 in a cool shop in Edinburgh. I know very little about it and I may want to sell it soon. Can anybody tell me a little more about this jacket? I think it aa early Aero but I am not sure. Thanks for your kind help.
