At least the seller offers returns.
Brown knit cardigan with bowled horn buttons and chest pocket.
Very long arms - can be turned up of course.
The body length clearly is only suited for proper high-waisted trousers. ;)

Hello
Beautiful early to mid-1930's German suit ensemble for a man of size 38-40 R.
High quality wool fabric of medium heavy weight of charcoal colour with tiny white stripes and black structure stripes.
The Peak-lapel jacket was not part of the original 3-piece suit, but since size and fabric...
Although an orphaned suit jacket, this brown striped SB beauty is being offered for quite a good price IMO.
It's not too often one finds Canadian 30's (which IMO it is) tailoring:

Hello,
I've got a "new" (30-50's) pair of British cream wool flanell trousers.
At the cuff area there are pinkish stains (not just spots, but rather spread), probably from the red tennis field.
Any idea how to best clean them out? :(
Normal washing powder and a small tub with hot water...
Fellow FLoungers,
Here a vintage German/Austrian leather jacket in good vintage condition.
Size fits US 38 / EU 48. Also good for US 36 if a slightly looser fit is desired.
Brown leather (certainly steer).
Made by "Umgeher - Linz"
Brass Zippers by "ZIPP".
Red plaid liner with a few well...
A spin-off to the discussion on buttons on the vintage suiting thread. Show and discuss interesting and unusual buttons of all shapes and kind. :)
Here some variations of German buttons.
Bowl-shaped buttons
Riffled surface buttons

Just in time for colder temperatures I received today this jacket from France.
Warm quilted liner and generous cut (no shoulder pads) - perfect for slipping it over a suit.
A sort of "storm cuff" in the sleeve lining, which closes above the wrist thanks to an elastic string.
The mouton collar...
Hello gents,
I've got a vintage zipped jacket made from bottle-green corduroy (therefore certainly pure cotton).
Problem is that the left shoulder area has faded to a greyish hue.
What to do? If I dye the complete jacket with green color, will the difference not be still noticeable...
Fellow FLoungers,
It's getting really colder... so on whatever side of the pond you are, getting some warm clothes is not a bad idea. :D
Here a 30's German winter jacket made from very sturdy sheepskin/shearling. The leather is strong & thick and neither dry, nor flimsy.
Elegant cut with...
A beautiful, 1930's to early 50's Italian SB suit in blueish diagonally striped fabric.
Rather small and US shipping only... but for this price, someone get it.

Has some issues, but nice cut.

Looks like it has been dyed brown... guess it was light grey before.
What do you think?
I am going to make myself a pair of plus-fours/knickerbocker. A question to the (I guess not too many) gents here wearing this garment occasionally: what would you recommend - elastic band inside the "knee-hem", a knit "cuff", a button or a buckle? I want them to bulge over well, prevent...
Original vintage 1940's made-to-measure mens shoes (semi-brogues) made by "G.Gurdschik - Munich".
G.Gurdschik originally had his store in Karlsband, Czechoslovakia, and relocated after World War 2 to Munich.
The Germans were "resettled" from Karlsbad in 1946, so the shoes date from ca. 1946 to...
Rather unusual Austrian Knickerbockers made from leather. Judging from the discernible details and cut (and braces) certainly 30-50's. Clearly not the usual "Lederhosen" pattern.
