Here's one from my neck of the woods. Torisevan kahvimaja (Toriseva Coffee Hut) in Virrat, Finlandia. Opened in 1936 by Lotta Svärd organisation ( female section of the finnish Civil Guard). Still open, owned by same family sinne 1951.
My feelings exactly! With added bonus as a member of international loungers to whom English is a foreign language: Constant worry that I might be writing something totally stupid and insulting! Surely I'm not the only one out here!?

My father passed away recently. Clearing his apartment I found multiple slide rulers and Rotring brand technical pens. Got me thinking that up to 80's blueprints were really hand drawn and a slide rule was a professionals tool. My kids had no idea what a slide rule is when shown
IMHO linen is cooler than cotton. I've worn both in hot and dry as well as hot and humid enviroments, and linen handles perspiration better. Now somebody tell me how summer weight wool behaves, haven't tried that yet? Still plenty of time 'til next summer and travel to warmer locations seems to...
There must be others too with same dilemma? I absolutely love shaving with a straight razor and the whole kit with it... But. I can't stand my face without a beard! Thought about just moustache, could shave and still have some facial hair but that's a nono with the missus. So beard it is!
