My Project Hat....

I don't know if any of you ever heard of or seen the show "How it's made"? Well, I faithfully watch this show, I love it. Tonight they showed how they make Stetson Hats. It was very interesting because they use all automated machinery to do it. Unlike what we're used to seeing around here... -
Western Conversion.....
Here's my attempt at a Conversion. I had that Black Wool Western that I Posted in the Western thread. I said I never wear it and I see all these threads about western conversions, so I thought I'd give it a go. All I need now is some starch/stiffener for the Brim and I'm good to go... -
Another Ribbon Swap....
I have this Resistol that I want to sap the braided band with some grosgrain. I like this color, but don't know if it fits? Keep in mind that it's blurry because I tries tio shoot it without flash to capture the true color. It still came a bit light, it's a tad darker and less blue... -

Schobel, "Whippet Clone"
I thought I'd formally introduce my Schobel here. It's an Amazing hat, super soft felt, and it's pretty light weight at 130 grams. Crown is 5" creased, Brim is 2 1/2" with a full 1/2" trim on it, ribbon is 1 3/4" (with wind trolley) and the sweat is in good shape, very soft, it's 1 7/8". Here's... -

Perforated Biltmore......
Mine finally came today. Did anyone else get theirs yet? This hat is unbelievable, I never seen anything like it before. The felt is a beautiful light dove gray in color with a navy blue ribbon. The sweat is super soft, as is the felt itself. I can almost compare it to one of my Borso's, but... -
