Offensive? What's offensive is getting hosed on a sale - on either end.
I refuse to send outside of the USA, period. If anyone is offended, tough beans. Once it leaves your homeland, you have very few options to recover, and I've been there, done that. Good luck Thug.
I was just at the FILSON mother ship 6 weeks back. They have a whole first floor of people making things that you can watch which is really neat. It's a new-old building, not far from the original one. While much of their gear is made here, many shirts (lesser expensive) are made overseas...
^^ to all the above.
I think that most of us here could have avoided at least 5-10 leather jackets that didn't work out if we had the opportunity to go try them on.
Not just for sizing, but for style. I know I've fallen in love with a jacket, and it fit, but looked awful on me.
If course, the...
The "issue" with LA, is it's not NY or London or other place where lots of great shops are crammed into a relatively small area.
It's all over the place, and the time it takes to get from one area to another grows daily.
Good luck, I know I often have more patience when traveling, so hopefully...
Yeah, have this issue too, but I've found that the Woolrich (better shirts) are pretty decent. I've a 36"+ sleeve, and it's always an issue. But I just dry on low heat or hang. Once it's partially dry, I pull the sleeves by stepping on the cuff, and pulling the shirt up from the shoulder then...
Some pics of the Apollo jackets.

My wife has a garment steamer. I use that and then for the neck areas, I use a sponge with warm water and a dab of Woolite.
I don't want the chemicals of dry cleaning, and I's rather just do it myself if I can.
There may be better ways, but the only other thing is to find a cleaner that...
When I went to Aero in 2011, Will's son showed me his jacket that looked of similar hide and vintage. I was in love with that jacket, and these here are equally beautiful! Jealous but nice to see some great older jackets!
Personally, nothing but joy buying and selling here.
Not saying a bad experience can't happen, but I'd limit to long-term members and you should be fine!
Anything in a 48? :)
@HPA Rep - the Apollo's are great. I think others are looking at them as well, and I for one hope someone does them!
I've shrunk a bit, and I might be able to hit the xxl, but there's part of me that will be heartbroken (again since wife dissed it) if it's too small.
Probably worth a shot. My...
