    Honestly pretty cool! Vaguely reminds me of the high fantasy/sci-fi artwork on the Schott-Heavy Metal 2000 collab jackets. I think I’d like that artwork more on a black or blue jacket but the biggest crime to me is the braided epaulettes lol.

    I think I read there was a connection on an older thread in this forum but it makes sense to me. LL Bean isn’t known for their leather jackets otherwise so I doubt they were made in Maine. The leather cuff protector is also a Golden Bear signature on their bomber and varsity jackets.

    Just bought this unlabeled bomber jacket that based on the outline of the label, I'm almost positive is an LL Bean (I believe made by Golden Bear) shearling-lined goatskin jacket, especially with the leather cuff protectors. Hope it works out, I've always been a sucker for the civilian bomber...

    Yeah it honestly looks too close to human skin for me. If you like it then don’t let me stop you from using it but I haven’t heard of pigskin having specific qualities that couldn’t be gotten from other hides.

    I can’t speak too much for this jacket specifically because I’m not familiar with the brand but I wouldn’t be worried about suede bits getting all over your clothes. The Mister Freedom Campus is similarly unlined with the suede on the inside and the one I owned didn’t leave fibers on my clothes...
