I start to believe that there are batch related fit things going on with Pike Brothers N1s.

The small looks like a perfect fit on you!

The Bronson had even higher and smaller arm holes! I still have one and wear it with t-shirt only when weather allows. I have too many N1s, not one is perfect in all aspects.

Good to see that there are guys who can pull off Pike Bros N1. I sadly seem to have stopped belonging to them a long time ago.

Proof 2, here is Bfd70 back then, (if you allow, Bfd70 :))

Here is the proof :) Must have been one and a half decade ago here on the Lounge with very poor foto quality. I wish I'd have my figure back.

Looks fantastic on you! I remember my first Pike N1 looked as good on me (edit: see proof further down), but back then I was thin and could wear ...don't know if it was S or M. Sleeves were trimmer than on all the Pike ones I tried on later. Did I say "Don't worry, it's just not for me, you may...

How things develop, we are maybe even better off when we don't take it off while we eat. They start to save energy :)

True, I remember me trying on an Irvin and felt like Hulk.

Yes, the wider trousers go with the shorter and less trim jacket very well. What are those trousers btw?

So as a valuable take away from this: It's not measures only that define fit.

I have worn my latest PB a lot over the last two winters and it is soft now and not at all stiff but looks so much more bulky and kind of odd at me compared. You are right, the Pike is very substantial for sure. If this is what makes the difference, though... All measures nearly identical, I...

How different are the arm holes? There must be a difference somewhere that results in this remarkable optical change.

Just so others can have a better impression of what we talk about. First two are Mil-Tec Size 42. The other two are Pike Brothers.

    Very strange indeed.

Strange indeed. Would be interesting to know, how the measures compare if taken in different areas. Midway across between pit and hem, sleeve width at elbow hight. I am surprised at the ratio sh2sh and p2p being nearly identical. From the charts Pike Brothers have 14 cm jump from sh2sh to p2p...
