Akubra Overload
My experience is Akubras with bound brims have thinner felt. Cattleman, Coober Pedy, Tablelands. I have a cattleman and my sister has the Coober Pedy. Both are significantly thinner than any of my other Akubra hats. Johnny- johnnycanuck

Giant Pith Helmet Thread of Doom
Yard working this last weekend. My 17 year old French pith helmet. Original sweat band disintegrated a few years ago so had to make my own replacement. Been thinking of spray painting it and graffitiing it up. 1950’s style. Or going cheesy with a Jurassic park logo.- johnnycanuck

Looks like a reputable hat shop. Nice looking hat. Very Jack Lemmon in “Good neighbour Sam”, mid 60’s look. Great discount from retail pricing as well. I cant see how you can loose. Akubra slouch hat
I have seen pugs put on all sorts of Akubras. The territory and cattleman look really good but you can put a pug on any hat. I have even seen them put on old army campaign hats. Johnny- johnnycanuck
