    Thanks. I really like the grain too. It's shearling, so the the leather exterior is just the reverse side of sheepskin. He did a hand-dyed finish with some old technique that he wouldn't tell me much about.

    Thanks for the pocket lining details. It did remind me of a very soft flannel, so that makes sense. I like it! Although it is ironic that one of my only jackets WITHOUT hand warmer pockets happens to have the most inviting pocket lining. :)
