Stetson Falcon?
Excellent find. I love that combination of short brim and psuedo-thin ribbon. Reminds me of this bond hat. I remember closely watching a falcon sold with two other hats on ebay not all that long ago, I too tried in vain to find any info on them. I'd love to see better pictures when it arrives. -
Brooks Brothers Stingy Brim in 7 5/8
Nice find I won a Brooks Brothers not a month ago that could easily be a 7 1/8 clone of yours (my avatar hat). I can't complain about the quality, when I decided to pinch it the dents went in like a charm and haven't caused any trouble. -

I'm a pretty shy interneter... Most of my past forum experience has been in form of lurking, as most places will indeed shoot you down as soon as help you out. This is one of the few places that seemed so friendly from the outside that I had to sign up.:) -

Thanks for the help guys, the Knox doesn't give any indication as to it's material, so maybe I'm luckier than I thought! My old girlfriend would flip if she saw that chinchilla hat that Jimmy Peirce has for sale! I can't imagine what else has ended up as a hat at some point or another... -
