    J. Peterman Cavalry Twill Coat Mens M 42R

Here is a thread from a bit over a year ago discussing the item in question. If it had fit me I would be keeping it, a very nice cut/fabric/price. And although I have been and am a dead-on 40R OTR this medium fit too large. It fits like a 42R. And since I just got this: from one of our number...

    Restoration question

Does anyone have any experience with enamel restoration? Do you think I might be able to, with a steady hand, a jewelers loupe and some of that Testors 'enamel' paint we used on airplane models when we were kids and be able to restore something like the above to its original appearance? [huh] Thanks

TRUE GRIT: Miss Hailee Steinfeld's (Mattie) character's Hat

Pretty much "off the rack" Stetson Austral, I think. I wish it came in a regular Fur Felt, as it is, it seems a glorified WOOL offering. Bison is not the fiber of choice for most hatters of my acquaintance. Great film, BTW! I could not recommend it more highly, FWIW.

What do I now have? "Celluloid coated Pamama"? 06/04/1931

Penn-Craft Celluloid 1931 Panama-style hat - never worn ...And to whom should I send this to for a sweat & blocking? [huh] Evidence seems to show it was , in some fashion, a division of STETSON. However it seems to have grown from a self-help co-op community founded by the Quakers in...
