The Burns Saddlery shop in Park City, Utah is plenty fun. But it's in Salina, Utah where they make the hats. I happened to be passing nearby, so I had to stop by to see. They sure make beautiful hats!

they had some very large size hats. I wear a 61 cm hat and I tried on some hats there that were way too big for me. It's a fun shop - lots of nice hats!

The fedora arrived on Friday. I wore it to the swim meet on Saturday... my sweetheart didn't even notice! I also have a straw Panama fedora - I guess she assumed that's what I was wearing. The Sunbody palm leaf fedora was just great out in the sun!
Well, I got a compliment from a pretty lady at the post office today, so the Gus can't be irredeemable! My guess is that my sweetheart doesn't so much have an opinion about the hat, but worries about other people's opinions. We are complicated creatures!
