Plans for the long weekend?

What does everyone have planned? I unfortunately have to work Monday so I don't have a 4-day weekend *but* I am going to a show and camping this weekend at the Terryville Fairgrounds for the 3rd annual Rumble in the Country. Camping and...

    The Death of Chivalry?

I think "Mind Your Own Business" has gained favor over "Help Out a Stranger" these days.[huh]

    Show us your vintage patterns!

Well how are you measuring yourself? I always heard that you measure around just the underside of your bust, then measure how far you stick out. In fact here is how Victoria's Secret does it... http://www.victoriassecret.com/html/bra/measuring/

You should just go to Victoria's Secret and have them measure you for free. Don't buy anything though. ;)

Not sure, the one I bought was listed by bra size!

    Show us your vintage patterns!

I have an amazing strapless Jantzen longline bullet bra that I LOVE! It is the only strapless bra that's ever worked for me and I wish they came up on eBay more often in my size. Anyway, I wear it whenever I need something strapless. I haven't noticed any additional attention from it, but...

I have a bra that I thought was 60s but looks a lot like the 40s bras you are posting - and no elastic whatsoever. I should take pics! Maybe you gals could help date it.

    4x4 - The Debate

This has been asserted a few times in this thread but I suspect it is patently false. I think if you need a 4x4, drive one. But don't say "Well YOU guys aren't doing anything EITHER" unless you know that to be true.

    Deco Jewelery

I can only stand to wear screw-back and clip-ons for a few hours until they make my ears either itch or hurt. It's awful because I have tons of really cute vintage earrings. :( Oh well.

    sunburns

Ibuprofen, aloe, drinking lots of water, cool baths, and you can try Burow solution too, which I have never tried which is supposed to be good. Get thee to a drugstore and get some sunscreen!!

    non orangey self tanners

Mystic Tan does do a good job but it's very much a LOOK I HAVE A TAN look. If you want something more subtle I would go with the Jergen's Natural Glow or any gradual moisturizing tanner. They give a slight tan, so you don't look TANNED, but you don't look winter pasty pale.

    Girdles, Corsets, and Underpinnings

Hah, I am 34DD with a long torso! I am a big fan of the Rago all-in-one styles. You can see some of the nice ones at Girdlebound.com - but the site isn't safe for work in all places.
