    La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial #5 tonight, a souvenir from our trip to Jacksonville in Sept. The last one I had, and I smoked it until it was too hot to hold. It's box purchase material.

    Yes. I've had a few Decades, 1990's, 1992's, Sungrowns around for a while, and I've bought fairly heavily into the Spring Collection. Of those, I much prefer to Springs, but the others are better now than they were when they arrived here.

    Rocky Patel Edge missile corojo tonight. I'm glad I only bought a few of them. The madura is better, but neither one will make my top ten list.

    Tom sent me e-mails today with before and after pics of what he was able to do with a vintage Stetson panama. It's very impressive how he can clean up a beater and block it to a practically new hat. The pics he sent happened to be of a hat my size too. Hmmmm, I wonder if that was a coincidence...

    I've been wearing it in the house, getting psyched for a float to the Carribean in Feb. Might be a bit cool for it outside here, but it won't be there. ;) Sam and I are close. We try to visit often. :D

    This ribbon is 2" wide. I was thinking yours is narrower, but I could be wrong. It's been a while since I've seen yours. It very well could be the same. There's likely an Optimo milan in my future. I tried one on when I was up there, and they're so much softer and nicer than the two I have.

    Thank you, Karl. You are an inspiration for this ribbon. As I recall you have a milan from Optimo Hats that has a ribbon not too terribly different from this one. I haven't seen you on the lounge much in a while. Good to see you back, and I hope all is well with you.

    This evening I added a CAO La Triviata to the day. Very spicy start but then mellowed into a quite good smoke. It was recommended by my friend, IC. Thanks.
