    The Village

Didn't see it, M. Night bugs the heck out of me. Did they have weapons? A period village would have had muskets and swords. As far as "monsters in the forest" go. Any boy of middling years I'm familiar with would have made it his business to actually see a monster. Nobody is that passive.

    Bell UH-1 Huey

When it comes to aircraft design I think the "good book" says it best... A little tongue in cheek but as far as basic airframe shapes and designs go we've had the gamut on paper for decades (or further back, thanks Leonardo). Now the innovation comes in materials, control systems and...

Norway in winter is beautiful. Did a Battle Griffin in '95 up by Narvik (Elvegårdsmoen). Felt like home.

    Bell UH-1 Huey

I'm not saying you couldn't have blank-firing pigs, just that you would probably be tightly regulated as to where and when you could have them mounted and firing. I'm not sure if you've priced a UH-1 and the cost of 2 full-auto 60's (darn near as expensive as the bird nowadays) but if you had...

    Bell UH-1 Huey

Sorry, just had a mental flash, it's a beautiful summer day somewhere in Oregon... Suddenly a Huey gunship, "Ride of the Valkyries" blaring over a loudspeaker, appears over the Visitor Center. (inside chopper) "Sir! Lake Swanson is Charlie's State Recreational Area!" "Screw that...

    Bell UH-1 Huey

Probably, although you're asking the question wrong. The proper question for an American is "Is there any law that says private citizens can't do that." We don't ask permission, we check for legality, freedom is assumed. Rant over. You can definitely build or buy the helo. Making it a...

    The Cap Faction

I notice the front part of my cap is tack sticked onto the edge of the brim. Is that like the stiching on a suit's pockets? Can/should I clip it?

    Thompson M1A1

SBR's (short barreled rifles) aren't really that hard. $5 if someone already cut the barrel, $200 if you have to pay a manufacturer to do it for you. Florida allows them.

Yep. I found one with fairly discreet fold down ear flaps for warm winter days. Just what I need, more stuff to spend money on. ;)
