Well I like mine even if it isn't exactly the same. All cotton, perfect length and sleeves. There is even a hidden piece of elastic to keep the action back looking nice and help it close correctly.
It looks pretty nice and the eppelauttes are removable. Thats very early war if I remember correctly. I'd give er a go. I really like the Linen Suit. But it is costly.
Another thing to consider. They have no give. Unlike the panamas and fedoras. You might have to get a size bigger unless your head measures right on the mark of your size. I wanted a wide brimmer too. I have this one curtrently.
I found another flick today at the library. The Flame Trees of Thika
Anyone seen it.
Coincidently I also found a book on Lawrence of Arabia, the life and legend.
I haven't worn the hat yet, I just got it about a week ago. Maybe this week. What did your do with the pug, I'm actually looking to dye that hat from the WWII shorts thread and make it into a Pattersonesque hat.
You know that the Burlington coat factory, Cost plus World Market and TJ Maxx have some nice looking stuff. Similar to the Bombay stuff at a discount prices.
