Am I having Superdenim deja vu?
I think there is still a baggy bottoms trend, a hangover from the
arse-dragging, skate fashions of yore. And folks did wear oversized work trou.
Vintage style work pants are acceptable baggy/oversised, as are dungarees.

Careful with that oxi-clean, Eugene...
Stains and discolourations, which one are we dealing with?
From the photo, it looks like a discolouration, a lighter patch.

Thanks-
I'm sure many here would very much like to see the menswear, shoes, hats from both catalogs.
Scanning and making your scans available for the benefit of this forum is always appreciated.
If you are able, please do.
Thanks for the offer!

That sounds good, then-
It's just that I'm aware of "the cardboardy", having had repro
service shoes crafted from the poor, grainless leather that wrinkles up
as if they are made of cardboard.
We have heard time and time again, that the SA Madisons not the best quality,
or best lasting...
Well- they are THE vintage boots at a good price.
They DO look good- maybe a little cardboardy,
just a shame they didn't use more substantial/nicer leather.
And a shame that a better made vintage-repro '20s style
example is not available (at least not at a sharp price).

I'm guessing, just guessing, mind- these are the subject of post #619,
up there, eh.
I think Stacey Adams Madison boots look really nice and vintage, too,
but apparently, they're made from leather flavoured cardboard...

I know of the Polish hat manufacturing company, Polkap-

You could phone them and ask them for names of retailers in Warsaw!
Try.

It crossed over to America and was regurgitated as the Norfolk we know today. IOW, what we know of as a Norfolk, today does have some American influenzas. I believe. Read that PDF...
