Here is the sticky about searching FL for existing threads - http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=21301. Hope this helps!
I usually have pretty good luck with the advanced search option that's built into this forum. Click on the Search option in the menu bar at the top of every...
I've always purchased my Hanes stockings at Macy's! Unfortunately, the last time I went, I was told that they had stopped carrying them, which is a real pity. They are available on the Hanes website though. Also, the Hanes stay-ups that Macy's does sell really do stay up, and they are slightly...
This is one problem I haven't had!
They are good in the colder weather with boots though!
Oh, the Sears ones are awful. They don't have any natural colors - as ShoreRoadLady said, their lightest shade is soooo dark!
Yes, these products have been covered in several other places here. I don't mean to be rude, but you might want to try searching for threads before posting new ones here - almost everything has likely been covered already! It just keeps things simpler and easier for everyone to find!
They will take returns.
I've ordered these stockings before and I didn't like them. They have a rough feel to them that isn't silky at all. Also, it's not stated in the listing, but they are RHT stockings and the reinforced areas are quite large. They are sturdy and don't seem to run easily...
Yes, it can cause muscle atrophy with really longterm wear, which is why most people recommend at least moderate exercise to keep your muscles fit. Long term wear can also change the shape of your ribs, but this effect isn't very common (at least from what I've read).
How terrible! I don't own any of their items, mostly because of the price, but I was hoping to at some point, and enjoyed knowing that the option was there, even if I wasn't purchasing from them.
I think you might find some answers to that question in the Getting a vintage haircut - what to ask for thread :)
Also, you should take photos for the Before and After thread!
Annie, your waist doesn't stay that size once you take it off - that's the whole point of wearing a corset... to compress your waist to that size! However, it should be noted that with regular all-day corset wear, one will likely lose weight, as corsets affect the way you eat.
Lovely items! I think you'll find that there are many threads for these items already (undergarments, jewelry, hats...). It would be great to post them there!
What really bothers me is when I walk into a vintage store and find a dress priced at $50 with unrepairable damage to it.
This weekend, I went into a vintage store and found a very plain cotton day dress with a tear in the fabric all the way down the back, priced at $30? Who does that? It's...
I'm not sure about where you are, but here in the US, most fabric stores have them.
If you can't find them locally at fabric stores, you can definitely get them at http://www.kleinertsshields.com/.
Very cool. I found this article in which the author tests the Tria and another device - http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/SmartHome/story?id=6192788&page=1
At $500, you get 9 girlfriends to join you and you're in for only $50 each. It's actually not a bad idea.
They sell those? How easy are they to use? I bet they're kindof pricey, but I think a brilliant plan would be to get all your friends, pool some money, do your treatments and send it to the next person in line when you're done :)
