Scotty you picked a great shirt! I too like a touch oversized on my shirts (I live where it is hot and humid 11 months out of a year) so it makes them easy on you when its hot.
Good show!
Nice pistol! I do like your holster, I havent seen leather work like that in a long while, very nice!
Here is my Rock Island Compact, nothing fancy just a good shooting gun:

A convert! HOORAY!
Enjoy, I shall dig my favorites for some links for you. One was from Hawaii itself. Kinda pricey, but for a good shirt and the comfort you get from the wear they are worth it!
Welcome to the inner circle of the Hawaiian Shirt Clan wear it proudly especially on Fridays!
Lando I am jealous, you have quit the collection of Hawaiian Shirts! LOOKIN GOOOOOOOD. I wear mine every Friday a tradition a Construction Manager friend of mine started when we worked at the brewery in St Louis! I am doing it now down here in NOLA. You can pick me out of the crowd at the...
Thanks Otter, I always thought the Snake had a bad attitude look to her too. In the air with a skilled pilot they could do a ballet that not many rotor winged aircraft could follow.
Since I fired the M9 for the first time in 87 at Bragg, I never saw a slide blow apart. I did see the magnaflux testing of 4 of the 9 issued to our flight platoon and those showed stress fractures and were immediately pulled from service. Within 2 months the M9s were pulled by a Safety of Use...
You know Bob, I never thought about that till you posted. I came from the 1911 series carriers. The M9 met a lot of resistance when fielded. Not to mention functionality issues as well as operational issues. Not many thought very highly of the M9 back then. Most of us dont think much of it...
Pretty fair and balanced article. Thanks for sharing.
having carried 38s, 9s and 45s I do tend to lean to the 45s. I found them reliable and relatively accurate as far as service pistols go. Understand, service pistols are different breed of cat than what you can buy at the local gun...
I liked Battleground also. It was made with several of the actual vets too! I am partial to Hell and Back, but my favorite is She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.
My favorite aircraft of all times:
My bird landing in a field in the FRG during a FTX with the 13th Attack Helicopter Battalion of the 3rd Infantry.
Just a touch partial to the Snake as I was a Crewchief, Tech Inspector and Phase Team Leader. Worked on several other ships, but I do...
Like you guys I have found rimfire to be spotty at best also. Out of a brick I had at least 10 that were misfires or failure to fire. These were Winchester and Federals for the most part.
For my 45 I stick with Remington, they have been pretty good rounds for me. I know for my rifles...
Ecorrigan do you find the SW a bit of an ammo snob? I owned one and found that it was a good shooting gun but if you used anything in it but factory Rems it had a bad tendancy to jam on me.
Chaps, heck of a pistol to pack! I too do love those cowboy guns. How does yours shoot?
Dennis, although I can not attest to Double H's cowboy boots I have owned their jump boots and have gotten good service and found them to be very comfortable and well made for their price.
Now if youre looking to make the jump into cowboy boots as work boots, I can recommend Red Wing Pecos...
