Thanks, I have one of those, but it's not really taking the edge off this year. I did see something at a friend's garage the other day that interested me. He had a large overhead heater that really blew a lot of warm air.
I haven't tried it, nor have I seen it anywhere around here. You're scaring me away from it anyway. I can't imagine liking anything more peaty than Laphroaig.
Just recently picked up a bottle of Oban. Good scotch. It's a bit smoky and peaty, but not as much so as the full blown Islays. If you like a little smoke, I recommend it.
Yep. 2 3/4. I guess I've tended to do things in the reverse from a lot of people. When I first started to fall prey to fancying fedoras I bought wider brims and then moved to narrower ones. These days I much prefer 2 1/2 or 2 3/8 to 2 3/4, but this Dobbs is a very nice hat and was in great shape...
I wore this hat yesterday, a Dobbs 20. Nice hat with really nice felt, but the brim is a bit wider than I usually like. Still it's the first overwelt I've snagged for my family. ;)
