I too have the 34 jacket. I must have long arms, because the sleeves are just about right for me. You will love it. Give it about 3-4 months and it will start to break in and show some very nice grain.
Yes the hide quality is top notch. I have one of their horsehide jackets. I have had mine since November, and it is just starting to get broken in. It can still stand up on its own. Also, the stitching is great too, with no give at all when you tug at the seams.
The jacket looks great! I know my LW A2 is really well made. Not quite as heavy as some i'm sure (mine is 3.5 Oz. I think). My experience with LW was positive. I told Stuart what I wanted, and he delivered. He sounded friendly...maybe a bit in a hurry, but friendly. I find his website...
Wow...those Bill Kelso jackets look real sharp! I have never heard of them before until maybe a few weeks ago. I guess they are much like U.S. Authentic...a good A-2 without the details of an exact war time contract?
I found the internet is just about the best place to buy leather jackets...Aero, Lost Worlds, Gibson & Barnes, or even U.S. Wings are some of the best on the market. I recommend your next jacket be something other than lamb. I'm new here too, but have learned so much from the experts on here.
This link shows both of my leather jackets. I'm not sure how to post images directly. Just click the link, and select the "next" button to see more!

I don't know much about measuring a jacket, but here is the way I did it, and what it measures.
Pit to pit- Approx 18 1/2"
Sleeve(Mid shoulder to end of cuff)-Approx 33"
Total Back length from top of collar to end of waistband- Approx 25"
A note of interest-Another thread on here talks all about the LW A-2. The size 34 that we have recieved must have been made before 1996, as I have found out that the post 96' jackets changed to nipple type snaps, and a brass zipper (as opposed to nickel). Read pages 6 and 7...
The arm holes are a tight spot on my jacket too, but it doesn't bother me probably because i'm a slightly smaller build than you. BTW, I'm going to try to get pictures, but my camera needs charged up, and I can't find my charger lol.
Good to know you like your's. The length is pretty good. The jacket comes down to just above the pockets on my jeans, which I like. The sleeves are just a bit long, but the cuffs don't tunnel into the sleeve much. I never owned any horsehide jackets before, but I believe the squeekyness will...
After much debate, I have made the move to buy a good A-2 jacket. I bought a Lost Worlds size 34 horsehide jacket from their sales page, and it came today. One word...WOW! The thing fits perfect, and is very stiff. I have never experienced a leather quite like it. The leather is exremely...
I have not ordered it yet...but I want to soo bad. You see, there are no returns on the sale items, and I must be sure it will fit. Also, I love to buy stuff....but hate to spend money. It's hard for me to break a twenty sometimes lol. I have enough to buy 3 of them, but I'm waiting on...
Hello, I'm new on here. I'm really wanting to get a nice WWII syle A-2 (When I have the money to do so). I have settled for U.S. Authentic, as the prices are fair, and I'm not too into detail. I already have a kind of cheap goatskin modern A-2, and I like it, but It just does not fit as I...
