    I second the recommend for B Nelson in New York. I've used Alden and B Nelson to rebuild my shoes. As far as I know Alden only does men's shoes, but B.     I just replaced my wallet with a Tumi (seconds quality for $45). Quite nice. Looking around on fleabay, I noticed quite a few vintage wallets from Rolfs (from when they were made in US) and Coach (when made in New York even) selling at attractive prices. Some were even NOS.
