    All my hats are 30's to 60's. I have some nice homburgs and bowlers I wear on certain occasions but I always have on a fedora or trilby and I couldn't care less if someone thinks I'm not "pulling off the look".

    Hi everyone I just bought a nice stratoliner hat box, it's the small oval silver one. Problem is, it's so narrow only a stingy brim would fit in it, in my opinion. What kind of stratoliner fits in this box?

    Ok thanks I will. When I started collecting about a year ago I bought too many smallish hats. I need to stick with 7&1/2.

    Thanks for the reply. Yes the leather sweat bands are intact. I am trying to stretch that area about 1/8 th inch or so. I will try much more steam in the future. I did crack a leather band on a habig, still getting over that.

    First time posting here. What's the correct way to stretch a hat? I have an early electric stretcher but I don't use the heat because it gets too hot. I've had limited success. Thanks Andy
