Looks like we're 1A in the Army again, this time in the 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Division. We'll be picking up the wounded on Omaha in June '14 in our Dodge WC54 ambulance. It's quite the workout to drive, especially on English roads. Non-syncro crashbox 4 speed and suggestive brakes. I had to...
Moved from LA to Ann Arbor, Michigan for a year or two. Took the Buick to play with, which made quite the conversation piece at the Canyonlands campground. Taped it up to save it from stone chips and all went well except for a stress crack in the driver's windshield, which I'm pretty sure wasn't...
Fabulous pics Sapphire. I really envy you and your car (and your weather!). We had almost two weeks of continuous rain on our trip through France, the Benelux, and UK in the old Citroen. Unlike yours, our trip was not completely trouble-free though our problem proved to be minor: a faulty...
Thanks! Love those photos, they are an inspiration. We became Bavarian residents for the duration of our trip. Now the car is on the M/S Tristan headed to Los Angeles. I posted some trip pics in another thread but here are a few more.

This year we saddled up in a '64 Citroen ID-19 and took a tour of the Bulge area of the Ardennes on the way to the War and Peace Show in the UK. Here are some pictures.

Saw it last night at the AFI Film Fest Premier. Wow. I mean, Wow. Every once in awhile you have to see a French film to remind you that they invented the art form. A beautiful homage to old Hollywood.
Great pics. The MB looks very authentic. As this is car show season, here are a couple from last weekend's Supercar Sunday in Calabasas. Lots of Supercars, and one old Buick. Plus an ancient Roller from Springfield, Mass.
If this car had a conventional steel body it'd be worth $15k tops, but it is such a neat artifact of the era that I think it'll pull in some serious money.
